Singaporean renewable power producer Peak Energy, owned by US investment group Stonepeak, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the development of a 50-MW portfolio of rooftop solar projects in South Korea.
Through this partnership, Peak Energy and Digital Edge will jointly pursue an initial pipeline of 500 MW of operating capacity for both existing and planned data centers over a three-year period.
The platform secured a 20-year fixed revenue capacity market contract for four battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Japan's first long-term decarbonisation auction.
