Peak Energy develops and builds utility-scale solar and wind farms, which are connected to the electricity power grid to and sell energy directly to the grid operator itself, typically on a long-term (20-25 years) fixed terms contract.
This is part of the effort by the grid operators in all countries to replace the fossil fuel generation assets, which burn coal or gas, with renewable energy assets which have no negative carbon impact on the environment.
This type of development is regulated by the power company in each country and is possible in all countries in Asia Pacific.
